Chris Mackenzie makes up half our epic guitar dueling-duo!

 

Many people believe that Chris is deaf. This is not true. Chris has a unique hearing disorder that doctors are calling “Christortion”. The problem is simple; Chris cannot hear sounds that are quieter than the normal human pain threshold. The only time that the world makes sense, is when he has a guitar in his hands!

 

With influences such as Nickelback, Velvet Revolver, InMe and Black Stone Cherry, Chris has a serious culmination of rock heritage at his fingertips.

 

When it comes to making things sound good, Chris is the man to turn to! After studying audio recording and production, not to mention the fact that he has more gear than Jeremy Clarkson can explain, Chris know exactly how to get that perfect Detours vibe from every gig!

 

Many people also believe that if you could see distortion, it would resemble Chris’s hair. To save confusion, he can often be seen wearing a hat.
