The Detours are a Glaswegian rock band. Their dynamic live shows have become renowned for leaving many jaws on the floor and venues in their wake.

 

The band made their television debut in November 2008 on the Channel 4 program "Orange Unsigned Act". They garnered a fantastic response from fans and judges alike.

 

In August 2009, The Detours were crowned champions of Live & Unsigned, fighting off stiff competition from over 10,000 acts to secure a management deal with Future Music.

 

The band have played alongside many distinguished artists including Pay*ola, Pride Tiger, Bury Tomorrow, Arusha Accord and the Day I Vanished to name but a few.
